Tora conducted engineering airflow measurements and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) loading assessments at an ISO foam manufacturing facility to support air permitting and control technology design.
The goal was to determine the minimum number of online and offline emission sources that would require control to achieve the client’s desired production goals while maintaining synthetic minor source status under air permitting regulations.
Tora’s data-driven analysis allowed the client to install a much smaller Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) than originally planned—resulting in approximately $1 million in cost savings without compromising regulatory compliance.
