Tora supports a manufacturing client with annual reporting under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Section 312 Tier II requirements for eight facilities across four states. This includes submitting Tier II reports via state and federal online systems, and delivering copies to local emergency planning commissions (LEPCs) and fire departments.
Tora also supports annual Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting for the same facilities. To streamline the process, Tora developed site-specific, consolidated request-for-information (RFI) forms that capture both Tier II and TRI data needs.
To further simplify compliance, Tora created custom databases to assist with:
- SDS review for TRI applicability and threshold determination
- Discharge calculations
- Data entry into the EPA’s CDX reporting system
- Submission tracking and support
Where applicable, Tora also reviews chemical usage and prepares annual TRI non-applicability memorandums to document exemption status.
