The Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) program, managed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), requires annual reporting from certain industrial facilities.
Facilities with 10 or more employees that manufacture, process, or otherwise use listed toxic chemicals in quantities above established thresholds must submit a TRI report. The purpose of the program is to inform the public, communities, and policymakers about potential chemical hazards in their area and to encourage pollution prevention and reduction.
Facilities must submit TRI reports via the EPA’s TRI-MEweb system by July 1 each year, covering activities from the previous calendar year.
Tora routinely prepares TRI reports for facilities across a range of industries. If your organization needs support for next year’s submission, we’re here to help.
